A lifelong resident of Harkers Island, he had been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for 35 years. Coroner Leslie Springle attrib uted death to injuries Mr. Rose re ceived in a three-car colliiion on highway 24 in May. funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. yesterday at the church and interment was in the Virgie Mae Cemetery. CLAUDE SALTER Claude Salter, 67, died at his home at Salter Path early Friday morning. Funeral services were conducted Saturday morning at the Atlantic Methodist Church by the Rev. D. M.
