Miss Peggy Glyn Williams Speaks Vows with William Ginn Sunday Mrs. William M. Ginn Jr. Miss Peggy Glyn Williams of Beaufort and William M. Ginn Jr. of Goldsboro were married in a double ring ceremony Sunday af ternoon at four o'clock at Ann Street Methodist Church. The Rev. John M. Cline, pastor, heard the vows before a back ground of magnolia leaves and poinsettias. Mrs. Charles Hassell, organist, and Mrs. Jarvis Herring, soloist, presented a program of nuptial music prior to the cere mony. Mrs. Herring sang Song of Ruth and The Lord's Prayer. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a floor length gown of chantilly lace and tulle fashioned with a fitted bodice, with scalloped sabrlna neckline studded with iridescent sequins and long fitted sleeves. The bouffant skirt, featuring panels of chantilly lace, extended into a chapel length train. Her fingertip veil of french il lusion was attached to a crown of lace and illusion embroidered with seed pearls and she carried a cascade bouquet of mums and stephanotis centered with a white orchid. Miss Connie Spivey of Wilson, suitemate of the bride at Meredith College, was maid of honor. She wore a street length dress of red velveteen designed with a fitted bodice with scoop neckline and a full skirt. The back of the dress was accented with three velveteen bows. She carried a nosegay of red and white carnations. Miss Catherine Potter of Beau fort, Miss Elizabeth Ann Brown of Jacksonville, cousin of the bride groom, Miss Constance Mclntyre of Goldsboro and Miss Patsy At kinson of Tappahannock, Va., were bridesmaids. They wore dresses identical in I. style to that of the honor attendant and carried nosegays of white car nations. Miss Ann Williams, sister of the bride, was flower girl. Her dress and flowers were like those of the other attendants. Fred LeGray Ginn of Goldsboro, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. Ushers were Jack Goodwin of Apex, Otis Fisher of Bladenboro, Bill Gibson and Dave Whitaker of Chapel Hill, all col legemates of the bridegroom, and Sonny Williams of Beaufort, bro ther of the bride. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Williams wore a mauve lace dress with matching accessories and a corsage of pink cymbidiums. The mother of the bridegroom wore a turquoise blue lace dress with matching accessories and a white orchid corsage. The couple left for a wedding trip to Florida and upon their re turn will make their home at Smithlevel Road, Chapel Hill. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Williams of Beaufort. She is a graduate of Beaufort High School and attended Meredith College, Raleigh, for two years. She will continue her edu cation at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. The bridegroom Is the son of Mrs. William Ginn Sr. of Golds boro and the late Mr. Ginn. A graduate of Goldsboro High School, he completed his undergraduate work at tbe University of North Carolina, where he was Phi Seta Kappa. The Rev. D. M. Tyson, pastor, offi ciated at the double ring cere mony. A program of nuptial music was presented prior to the ceremony by Mrs. Grant Leonard of Beau fort, who used the traditional wedding marches. She accompan ied Miss Ruth Durham of Beaufort, voealist, who sang Entreat Me Not to Leave Thee, Because and The Wedding Prayer. The church was decorated with baskets of white gladiolas and red poinsettias, laurel roping through the altar rails, and candelabra holding red tapers. The bride was given in marriage hy hef father. She wore a formal wedding dress of imported ehan tilly lace over bridal satin, fash ioned with a tight fitted bodice and long sleevea ending in points it the wrists. The sabrina neckline Was scalloped and appliqued with lace medallions and iridescent se quins. The voluminous skirt was made of a cascade of scalloped ruffles to the floor, terminating in a ca thedral train. Her headpiece was a half bon net of chantilly laee and pleated tulle embroidered with pearlt and sequins, to which was attached a fingertip veil of imported silk illu sion. She carried a cascade of white roses and stephanotis cen tered with a white orefcid. Miss Beverly Kay Willis, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a green velveteen dreii styled along princess lines with three-quarter sleeves, rounded front neckline dipping to a V in the back ending in a bow, and matching shoes. Her headpiece was a velveteen bow attached to a bandeau with a circular veil of matching green tulle. She carried red poinsettias pinned on a shirred white velvet muff with white velvet streamers. Bridesmaids were Miss Karen Smith of Norfolk, Va., and Atlan tic, Mrs. Manly R. Willis of Key West, Fla., cousins of the bride, Miss Shirley Buchan of Hender son and Miss Jean Gillikln of Wil liston. Miss June Teieh of Adams Creek was a junior bridesmaid. They wore red velveteen dresses and headpieces with matching shoes and carried red poinsettias pinned on white velvet muffs. Presiding at the bride's book were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Piner of Williston. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Willis and Mrs. Hilda Mason pre sided in the gift room. Hostesses were Mrs. John W. Smith, Mrs. William Smith, Mrs. Harold Daniels, Mrs. Charles Smith and Mrs. Keller Morris. A pink motif was carried out in the room. Large baskets of pink and white carnations were used. The table was covered with a white cloth and centered with an arrangement of pink carnations and pink candles. On the piano was an arrange ment of large silver rings, pink net and pink candles. A three-tiered pink wedding cake topped with pink wedding bells was served from one end of the table by Mrs. Jeff Abbott. Miss Karen Smith of Norfolk, Va., poured punch. Claud Wheatlys are Hosts At Dinner Party Friday Mr. and Mrs. Claud R. Wheatly Jr. entertained at a dinner party Friday evening at their home hon oring Miss Nancy Willis and Mr. Dennis Piner of Williston and the members of their wedding party. Miss Willis and Mr. Piner were married Saturday evening at the Williston Methodist Church. The Wheatly home was decorat ed in the Christmas motif. A gold and pink color scheme was car ried out in the living room and red and green were used in the dining room. The Wheatlys presented Miss Willis a silver cake plate. Mrs Toich Entertains At Bridesmaids' Luncheon Mrs. Walter Teich was hostess at a bridesmaids' luncheon Friday at the Morehead Biltmore Hotel, honoring Miss Nancy Willis of Wil liston. A color scheme of blue and white was carried out. The table was centered with a miniature Christ mas tree of blue and white balls and white net. which the hostess later presented to the honoree Upon arrival Miss Willis and her mother. Mrs. Elmer Willis, and the mother of her fiance, Mrs. Warren Finer, were presented tor sages of blue and white Christmas balls. Miss Willis received a place setting in her silver pattern and a silver cake knife from the hostess. Duplicate Bridge Winners To Receive Master Points Master points were awarded Capt. C. B. McFarland of Cherry Point and Dr. Charles Duffy of New Bern, winners of duplicate bridge Friday night at the Inlet Inn. Second place winners were Mrs. D. J.
