The Rev. Ralph Fleminf paator, officiated and burial wai in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Harrington died in Norfolk Friday. A native of Newport ahe had been living in Norfolk for the paat nine year*. Surviving are four daughter*, Mr*. Troy S. Brown, Mr*. Horace A. Parlette, both of Norfolk, Mr*. John T. Caaaey of New York City and Mra. Thomas L. Patrick of New Orleans, I .a.; eleven grand children and aeven great grand children. MRS. SUSAN A. WILLIS Mrs. Susan Alice Willia, 81, of Beaufort died at her home yeater day morning. The daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Wilder Wil lis, she waa a lifelong reaident of Beaufort. Funeral ucrvice* will be conduct ed at 3 p.m. today at the home of a daughter, Mr*. Effie Nance, on Weat Beaufort Road. The Rev. Alec Thompson, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate and burial will be in Oceanview Ceme tery. Duncan was in Ox ford over the weekend and attend ed the wedding of Miss Edna Frances Young. Mr. and Mrs. O. Holland and Mr. Maurice Davis and son, War ren, of Falls Church, V?., were holiday guests of their, mother, Mrs. J. J. Davis of Smyrna. Mr. and Mrs. David Mosier and children of Greenville spent Christ mas here with her mother, Mrs. W. K. Hinnant, and her grand mother, Mrs. N. W. Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Lienthal, Manasquan, N. J., are here to spend the New Year's holidays with her mother, Mrs. Jess Pagels. Their ton, Richard, has been spending Christmas here. James Doyne Younf of Oxford, formerly of Beaufort The bridegroom la the aon of Mr. and Mr*. Cecil Harry Dudley of Courtice, Ontario, Canada. The bride'a father officiated at the ceremony. Mutic wag furnished by the church choir, directed by Mrs. Jamea Dunn, with Mrs. George Caghill of Winston-Salem soloist and Miss Myrtle Jane Prultt organist. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Doyne Jackson Young of Dallas, Tex. She wore a gown of chantilly lace over taf feta fashioned with a scalloped sa brina neckline with long sleeves. The lace-ruffled skirt extended into a chapel train. She wore a waist length veil of french illusion attached to a tiara of seed pearls and sequins and carried a colonial bouquet of sweetheart roses and lilies of the valley with two white orchids. Miss Betty Bynum of Stantons burg was maid of honor. Misa De lores Murray of Smithfirid, Mi as Linda Lee Tise of Winston-Salem and Mrs. Doyne Jackson Young of Dallas, Tex., were bridesmaids. They all wore dresses of emerald green taffeta and carried bouquets of American beauty roses and gladiolas. Noel Dudley of Courtice was best man for his brother. Miu Guthrie, driving east on Bridges Street, made a right turn at Tth Street and hit Mr. Tunneil't car. He had stopped at the stop sign. Sgt. William J. Condie inves tigated. There were no charges.
