What Was It?
Reginald Lewis, Morchead
City, reports that be saw a satel
lite "or something" in the sky
Sunday night that was not the
Air Forcc balloon, Echo I.
He was sitting on his porch
trying to spot Echo I about half
an hour before it was to appear
Sunday night and saw a moving
object, like Echo I, which moved
out of the northwest and went
south.
He said he spotted it at 10:34
p.m. and it took several minutes
for it to pass out of sight.
He's interested in knowing if
anyone else saw it. With all the
man-made things flying around
up in the air, perhaps these days
you're liable to see anything.
