BURNSVILLE TAKES PAIR FROM MICAVILLE ——— Burnsville high school : basket" ball teams showed the ““Ole Burnsville Spirit” and took a double-header from Micaville Monday af ternoon. The girls led all the way and beautiful teamwork was shown by both first and second teams. The score ended 34-17. The boys game was one of the most interesting of , the season. First one had i the lead, then the other, i The score was tied at end of the game 25-25 and the i five minutes extra period gave Burnsville a 29-27 lead Clearmont and Burnsville Divide a Double-Header Oone of the most excit ing games in history of i basket ball was exhibited on the Burnsville court last Thursday night when Bur nsville sextet downed Clea rmont 22-20. - Clearmont grabbed an early lead but was unable to hold it when Burnsville girls “set their heads." Two minutes to play found Clearmont 20-19 lead, but a loop shot over Woody’s head gave Burns ville the lead* Then Hen sley’s tenth straight foul shot ended the scoring. The passing demonstrated by Ray, Woody, and Hensley is almost perfect—and King Bailey, and Wilson are doing an excellent job at the guard positions. Ham rick, Johnson, Ray, Brink ley, Griffith and Clark are determined, efficient subs. Clearmont downed the boys 48-28. It was a hard fought game, but Clear mont held the lead throu ghout. For » unless the employer knows ? the number, he can not in ? elude it in his wage report ; to the government, s Each wage earner’s ac r count is set up and kept for t him by the social security . board which will also hand -Ile his claim for benefits i when the time comes. The r social security board re -3 ceives the wage records ? from the Bureau of Inter i nal Revenue which in turn i receives them from the em ployer. Every quarter— P that is four times a year— -5 the employer furnishes a complete record showing the name, social security number and amount of wa ges paid to each person on the payroll, at any time , during the three months • for which he is reporting - ( no matter how short a - time the man worked or how little pay he received). 5T h e employer’s reports . shows also how much he de i ducted from each man’s i pay for social security tax -es and how much payroll tax the employer himself pays. These wages and tax re ports are collected and au dited by the Bureau of In-j ternal Revenue. The audit shows whether or not the wages the employer reports and the tax money he turns in, agree. Then the wage reports go to the social se curity board, where the Bu reau of old-age and survi vors insurance credits each item of wages to the social security account of the worker who receives that pay. 1 \'■ ‘ M' "" ’ tLOST: Child’s knee length 1 j rubber boot.
