Congressman Taylor said the ra’ly is being held in Marion at the invitation of McDowell Democratic lead ers as a special convenience and gesture of friendship for the two newest counties in the district, Rutherford and MitcheH, added earlier this year. Also, the rally has never previous y been held east of Asheville, Taylor said. “We hope that large groups from Rutherford and Mit che’l will attend and that they will be made to feel very much a part of the en larged 11th District,” Rep.
