Hopson and Mar vin Dee Hensley will represent Yancey County at the seven - teenth annual 4-H Forestry Camp to be held at the Mill stone 4-H Camp in Richmond County near Rockingham, N. C. June 7-12. The Forestry Camp is spon sored by Southern Bell Tele phone and Telegraph for boys in all 100 N.C. counties judg ed to have superior records in the 4-H Forestry project. The camp is conducted by the For estry Department of N.C .State University. Instruction will be given in subjects such as compass and map reading, preparation, equipment and safety, timber stand improve ment, wildlife, timber meas urements, and forest insects and diseases. Special events and activities are scheduled dining the week. A portion of David Hopsor/s Forestry project was on display at the 1971 Chamber of Com merce banquet.
