Cling Hughes. * Mr. and Mb. Danie Keys of Johnson City and Mr. Writer Letterman of Green Mountain were dinner guests at the home of their sister, Mb. Cling Hughes of Burnsville, Sunday. * Boro to Mr. and Mrs. Chris Cooper of Shelby, N.C. a son, Christopher Scott, June 10th. Chris is the son of Mr. and Mb. Hal Cooper, Burnsville. * Clevie Fox, 3 month old son of Mr. and Mb. Raymond Fox, underwent surgery Thurs day, June 3, and again Wed nesday, June 9, at St. Joseph Hospital in Asheville. He is doing fine now. * Mb. Clyde Robinson and daughter, Barbara visited Mb. Jim Arrowood. Mb. Robinson is from Wyonodette, Michigan and Barbara is from Old Fort, N.C. * Bruce Mitchell visited his sister, Mrs. Ida Byrd over the weekend. He is from Green ville, S.C. Also visiting Mis Byrd and Jerry Byrd over the weekend were Mr. and Mrs.R. Whitson and children. * Visiting the Jim Arrowoods oviEr the weekend were Mrs. Minnie Bailey, Mb. Norma Pr yor and children. Also Odell Phillips and Clyde Phillips and his daughter, Jackie. * Geraldine Ward is leaving for College. She plans to at tend Cecils Business College. * 16 friends from Orlando, Fla. stopped by to see David Murray and went to Revelation Mtn. They were: Pat, Barbara, Tom, Ken, Cindy Lou, Richard,Cin dy, Ellen, lean, Paul, Moon, Cheryl, Suzanne, Rudy. * Virtle Mclntosh, Shelia Mc- Intosh, Jackie Phillips, Wanda, Thurston Phillips, Clyde and Odel Phillips, Mr. and Mb.
