V*** ’ if* • # yj|j^4 U am*** %*M I «R 1 v Mrs. Larry Michael Robinson United In Matrimony Miss Patricia Ann Smith and Larry Michael Robinson were married S aturday in the First Baptist Church in Henderson - vSLIe. The pastor, lan officiated at the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl James Smith of Hendersonville and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eur anious William Robinson of Burnsville. The bride was given in mar riage by her father. She wore a full length gown of white organza and Chantilly lace with an attached watteau train. It was styled in empire waist and mandarin collar with pearl trim. Her elbow length veil of illusion was centered with a crown of pearls. She carried a cascade bouquet of white camillias, pink roses and ste phanotisi Miss Jennifer Smith, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Her floor-length gown of pink and green floral print was ac cented by a pink sash and bow. \ She carried an arm bouquet of 'pink roses. Bridesmaids were Miss Pam Young of Burnsville, Miss Pat sy Rhodes of Lincolnton, Miss Jill Swann of Asheville and Miss Jan Piercy of Asheville. They wore gowns similar to the maid of honor and car ried a single pink rose. Miss lisa Young of Burns ville, cousin of the bride,ser ved as flower girl and carried a basket of pink petals. Mr. James Robinson of Burnsville, cousin of the groom, served as ring bearer, Mr. Euranious W. Robinson father of the groom, served as best man. Ushers were Mr. Tommy Robinson, brother of the groom, of Burnsville; Mr. Norman Holland of Burnsville, Mr. Norman West and Mrjiay wood West of Thomasville. Those assisting at the re ception were Mis. Wanda Prof flit, Mrs. Peggy Smith, Mis. Kitty Lane Whitmire and Mrs. Susan Henderson. Mr. and Mrs. George A. Brown of Burnsville are grand parents of the bride. Mrs. Mae Robinson of Burnsville is the grandmother of the groom. The bride is a graduate of Western Carolina University and has completed her first year of teaching in the Henderson - ville City School System. The groom is a senior, majorin g in Business Administration at Western Carolina University. The couple will reside in Sylva, N.C. after a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Couple Married Miss Polly Riddle, daughter of Mr. and Mis. Ben Riddled Green Mountain, was married to Mr. Phillip Fox, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Fox of Burnsville on June sth. The Bride attended East Yancey High School. The groom is a graduate of Cane River High School. He is presently employed at Ameri can Thread Co., Marion. The bride wore a white dress for the ceremony. The only attendant was the bride £ mother, Mrs. Riddle. Following a honeymoon trip to Cherokee and The Smo key Mountains, the couple are making their home in Burnsville. Betrothed Mr. and Mrs. Voyd McCrary of Green Mountain announce the engagement of their daugh ter, Judy Lee to AIC J e rry Dean Robinson of Bakersville, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Robinson. Jerry is serving in the U. S. Air Force in Tenker, Oklahoma, Wedding plans are "being made for August.
