I ne Northwestern Bank of Burnsville held its Customer
Appreciation Day on Friday, June 23, at their new office
in the Silvers and Dellinger Shopping Center. Many Yan
cey Countians and several guests from North Wilkes boro
and other parts of the state attended the "open house" and
inspected the newest bank facilities.

Northwestern Bank Expands

gave away a 24" Zenith Color Console TV and a choice of
> boy’s or girl's bicycle to the lucky winners who registered
their name for the drawing held July Ist.
J. Jr. of Route 5, Browns Creek Rd. , was
the lucky winner of the Console TV and Randy Diilinger
of Micaville won the boy’s bicycle. Victor Wheeler, 5-
year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. David Wheeler, drew the narres.
