(Scout Photo) J vie duneral MURPHY- ANDREWS-HAYESVILLE MRS. COLEMAN HAYESVILLE -Mrs. Eugen ia Coleman, 83, died Monday morning in a Hiawassee, Ga., hospital after a short illness. A native of Haywood County, she was the widow of Arthur M. Coleman, who died In 19S2. She was a member of Myers Chapel Methodist Church. Surviving are one daughter Mrs. Cllne McClure of Hayes - vllle; one son, Frank Cole man of Hayesvllle; one sis ter, Mrs. Charlie Evans of Canton; two brothers, E. A. and Ed Murray of Hayes vllle; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday In Myers Chapel Methodist Church. The Rev. J ack Thomas and the Rev. Cletes Pope of ficiated and burial was in the church cemetery.Pallbearers were Hoke McClure, Bob Ashe, RaySwain,JackGroves, Kenneth Barnard, and J. D. Waldroup. NAOMI DENNY NANTAHALA -Mrs.Naomi Denny, 93, died In her home Tuesday morning after a long Illness. Mrs. Denny, better known as Atnt Oma, was a native of Macon County, the daughter of the later Porter and Adllne Brwln Owenby, old Macon Cotnty settlers. She was a member of Old Brlartown Baptist Church. Surviving are six sons, Luthsr, Rev. Carl, and Will, all of Nantahala; the Rev. J. D. and Bd Denny of Andrews; and Victor of High Point. Three daughters, Mrs. Emma Roper, and Mrs. Stella Roper of Nantahala; end Mrs. May Roper of Atlanta; one sister. Mrs. Dora Pass more of Nan tahala; one brother, John Owenby of Nantahala; thirty - four grandchildren; 28 great grssidchlldren; and two great great-grandchildren. "Uncle John" Chambers, who lives with Frank and Larry said, "I didn't think 1 would ever be happy K> leave my old home (which stands in the yard of the new house), but 1 do love this beautiful view and the good warm bouse." All three of Frank's sons, Henson, Robert, and Larry, were present for the occasion. Robert and his family live in Kingston, Tenn. He andHenson had their families with them. A session of Bingo was en Joyed by the group. After wards, Frank opened the gifts and refreshments of cup cakes, mints, nuts, coffee, and lemonade were served.
