BIBLE QUESTIONS 4 ANSWERS By Tom Ledbetter Andrews Church of Christ QUESTION : Do you believe there should be just one church? ANSWER: I certainly do, not from my way of thinking or my opinion, but from the New Testament teachings. Christ said, "1 will build my church." How many chould this possibly be? He said that all men should be one (Jn. 17:21). Paul said that there is one body (Eph. 4:4-6) of which Christ is the head (Epn. 1: 22-23), and all of us under stand how many one is. He preached that all should speak the same thing so that there would be no divisions (I Cor. 1:10). The Bible teaches no where that there is more than one church.
