C. Saturday night. MRS. EDNA HERBERT HAYESVLLLE ? Mrs. Eifca E. Herbert, 75, of Hayesvllle died Tuesday. Nov. 3, in a Toccoa, Ga., hospital after a brief illness. She was a native of Clay County, wughter of the late John L. and Harriett Slagle Evans, widow of Tom Herbert and a member of Hayesvllle Presbyterian Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Todd Kimsey of Hlawas see, Ga.; a son, Hal T. Her bert of Eau Gallic, Fla.; and a granddaughter. Services were held Thurs day at 2 p.m. in Hayesvllle Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Sam Austin and the Rev. Cecil Page officiat ed and burial was in tbe church cemetery. Townson Funeral Home was in charge. MRS. ADA LINE HLGHES MURPHY - Mrs. Adaline Queen Hughes, 77, of Murphy Route 2, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, in her home following a period of declining health. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wash Queer and the widew of H. M. Hughes. Surviving are five daugh ters, Mrs. Mae Crawford of Asheville, Mrs. Gene Sexton of Knoxville, Tenn. , Mrs. Tommy Trusdale of Bishop ville, S. C., and Mrs. Char les Robinson and Mrs. Lucy Hughes, both of Murphy; four sons, Clifford, Wig and James of Murphy and Olin Hughes of Andrews; a sister, Mrs. Myra Barton of Murphy; a brother, Rans Queen of Mur phy, Rt. 1; 40 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Services were held Thurs day at 10 a.m. in Notla Bap tist Church. The Rev. Meander Chastain officiated and burial was in the church cemetery. Townson Funeral Home was in charge. LEE W. WALLS HIAWASSEE, GA. - Lee Walter Walls, 68, died Sunday, Nov. 8, in a Hiawassee Hospi tal after a short illness. He was a native of Towns, County, and a veteran of World War 1.
