Clemes Sanders Jr. Receives Bronze Star for Services Army Sergeant Clemes Sand ers Jr, whose parents live at 302 N. East St., Kinston, received the Bronze Star Medal during ceremonies near Bong Son, Viet nam. Sgt. Sanders received the award for outstanding meritor ious service in connection with military operations against a hostile force in Vietnam. The sergeant, a squad leader with Company A, 4th Battalion, 503rd Infantry for the 173dr 503rd Infantry for the 173rd Airborne Brigade near Bong Son, entered the Army in June 1968 and was stationed at-Ft.
