Guilford College Chemistry Department, Greensboro, has received a variety of analytical laboratory equip ment valued at $6,000 from Stockhausen Incorporated that will be used by students in several laboratory courses. Lenoir-Rhyne College Department of Nursing, $4,000 from N.C. Governor's Institute on Alcohol and Substance Abuse, Inc. which will enable nursing department to take part in pilot nursing faculty development program. Grant will be used to train faculty and integrate substance abuse and addiction programming into their courses. College also received $97,732 from Michael Peeler Fund of the N.C. Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in support of its new Sacred Music Program. Louisburg College, $200,000 from First Citizens Bank as part of the College's 1995-96 Annual Fund Campaign. First Citizens donated $100,000 to campaign with under standing if College raised $200,000 in additional unrestricted dollars before December 1996, the Bank would give another $100,000.
