Mr. Taylor will also conduct a discussion regarding the growing of hogs in this section. As the discus sion and showing of the pictures will last about two hours and a half, we are beginning the meeting promptly at 10:00 a. m. Every farm er, whether owner or tenant, should be present at this meeting. Good hogs are important to each and every family. In other words, if you keep your hogs under average conditions, worms get one out of every five bushels of corn you feed to your hogs. An annual inventory of farm property and equipment, together with a statement of liabilities, will show the farmer where he stands, said Dr. G. W. Forster, agricultural economist at State College. The difference between the as sets and liabilities represents the equity or net worth of the farmstead, he explained. Inventories taken the first of each year will also show the progress made from year to year as the farm is built up and improved, and will show the depreciation of buildings and equipment, Dr. Forster added. Often a farmer neglects his prop erty and equipment because he does not realize how fast they are de teriorating.
