Many | articles that the public have been I looking for are available at the I new store. The windows are decorated j t up-to-date minute style with fi ne displays of many articles that have not been available for some time. The Garland Brothers have been known in this community sotf ot I years and we know that they will make the new store a great sue ! cess- The store is really an as set to a city the size of Black | Mountain and it would be well j for all of us to pay it a visit and j look around before going else, j where to buy something when it s can be found at home. They will handle Standard Oil products. The new store is expected to be in op eration by July 1. The total area of the new prop, erty is 125 ft. front by 185 ft « depth. Jackson, executive sec retary of Blue Ridge has returned from an extended trip to Atlantic City, Memphis, Jackson, Tennes see and Mississippi, in interest of the Assembly. Mrs. Jacksoi and daughters accompanied Mr. Jackson. Mrs. W. E. Lindau and daughtei Sara Beth, who have been mat ing their home with Mrs. Lindau': parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. IV. Sand ers, are now located in Charlotte. Mr. Lindau is associated with the Press Association in that city. o Miss Frosty Bell, of Murfrees boro, Tennessee, is visiting he: sister, Mrs. H. W. Sanders. Mr. S. J. Godfrey, of Ports mouth, Va., is visiting Mr. ait Mrs. C. C. Godfrey. o Dr. W. D.
