Our Short Sermon By J. C. Cornelius o For the Spirit searcheth all things yea the deep things of God. 1 Corinthians 2:10 Paul gave us light on our spirit ual heritage in saying, “We re ceived not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that were freely given to us of God. The things that are freely given to us of God are spiritual quali ties such as life, love, and power. When we become aware of the Spirit of God in us, we have life in our body, love in our heart; we are filled with the power of Spirit that gives force and purpose to our living. It is only when our mind is illuminated with the light of Truth that we can conceive of the abundant life the Father would have us seek and live. Today we begin anew to con template the deep things of spirit. The desire of our hearts is to know, to experience, and to demonstrate the Gifts of God that were freely given to us hence await our claim.
