PEOPLE IN THE NEWS Redwine Is Chai Of Freshmen Le Rep. David Redwine of Ocean Isle Beach has been elected chairman of the freshmen legislators in the State House. Primarily through a series of breakfast meetings, he is helping familiarize the first-term legislators with their new roles, acquainting them with procedures and information sources. Redwine is perhaps the "oldest" of the freshmen. Elected to his first full two-year term last fall, he previously served out the remainder of former Rep. Tom Rabon's term.
