Gets Campbell
Scholarship
Rebekah Angelyn Davis of Iceland
has received a 12,000, four-year
Presidential Scholarship from Campbell
University at Buies Creek.
She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Arnold L. Wychel.
Attends Seminar
Charlie Young, a phar
macist/manager at Coastal Drug
Store in Shallottc, attended an annual
seminar on socioeconomic aspects
of pharmacy practice held Feb. 27 at
the University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill.
This year's program dealt with
pharmacists' opportunities in changing
health care delivery systems and
the educational role they can play in
regard to drug and alcohol abuse.
The program was sponsored by the
UNC School of Pharmacy and the
North Carolina Pharmaceutical
Association.

Army Pfc. Andre T. Hill recently
participated in Kindle liberty '85, a
military exercise held In the
Republic of Paiuuiui that Involved all
Department of Defense services and
Panamian Defense Forces In training
to defend the strategic Panama
Canal.
A 1984 graduate of South
Brunswick High School, Hill is the
son of Vera M. Hill of Southport.

the Brunswick County Department of
Social Services asked those present

of abuse or neglect be reported to the

in a July 4 fundraising event was
displayed and tickets distributed for
sale at $1 each. Proceeds of the pro:

A club crafts workshop will be held
10 a.m. April 3 at the home of Evelyn
Gunnersen to make Easter favors for
Brunswick Hospital and crafts for
the N.C. Fourth,of July Festival.
The next regular club meeting will
be April 16 at 10 a.m. in the meeting
room at Brunswick Electric
Membership Corp. Members are to
bring items for a flea market to be
planned at the meeting.
