The North Carolina Department of
Transportation will hold the above
public hearing on June 25, 1985, at
7:30 p.m. in the Sunset Beach Fire
Station. The hearing will consist of an
explanation of the location and
design of the five alternatives, right
of way requirements and procedures,
relocation advisory assistance and
State-Federal relationship. The hearing
will be open to those present for
statements, questions, comments

two high level fixed bridges (65' vertical
clearance) and three
drawbridges varying from 14' to 40'
clearance in the closed position. All
alternatives are in the vicinity of the
existing bridge. Two are on the east
side and three on the west side. The
right of way required is variable.

and copies of the Environmental
Assessment are available for
public review at the Sunset Beach
Town Hall. If additional information
