Earns Gold Medal
Troy Edwards, a 63-year-old resilient
of Brunswick Village Nursing
Home in Shallotte, was a gold
medalist in the recent Senior Games
held in Wilmington.
He won first place in the one-mile
walk in the 60 to 64 age division and
was one of the top 10 finishers overall
In the event, said Sheila Fields,
spokesman for the nursing home.
Mariowes Earn Degrees
Joey M. Marlowe and his wife,
Priscelia Johnson Marlowe, have
each received associate degrees
from Trident Technical College in
North Charleston, S.C.
Joey received a degree in electronic
engineering technology while
Priscelia received a degree in
chemical engineering. Both were
1981 graduates of West Brunswick
High School in Shallottc.
Joey serves active duly in the U.S.
