Also contributing to the program of music were margarei wiuougnDy, organist, Penni Ray, flutist: and Jim Smith, pianist. Mrs. Waldo Woody directed the wedding. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of white imported satin. It featured a basque bodice and sweetheart neckline heavily appliaued with silk Venise lace, irridescent sequins and seed pearls. The poufed satin sleeves were sprinkled with pearls and the back bodice was accented with covered buttons. The skirt had gentle gathers that flowed into a tulipshaped, scalloped cathedral train that was edged in scalloped Venise lace. Her headpiece was a coronet of Venise lace flowers and satin ribbon with pearls, attached to a cathedral length veil of illusion sprinkled with pearls. She carried a cascading bouquet of ' white roses, gardenias, freesia, stephanotis and English ivy. Her matron of honor was Mrs. Victoria Blackmon of Newport News, Va. Miss Sandra Varnum of Madrid. Spain, was maid of honor.
