Barnhardt reported. Ms. Risch was traveling east about 11.3 miles west of Belville at the time of the accident. According to Barnhardt's report, Ms. Risch's car ran off the pavement and onto the shoulder, went out of control and crossed a ditchbank before striking a tree. Ms. Risch and two passengers, Phillip Risch, 15, and Iieilana Risch, 11, were all seriously injured and taken to New Hanover Memorial Hospital in Wilmington. Box 215, Rieglewood, was traveling north on U.S. 17 when his car ran off the road and onto the median, turned over several times and came to rest on its top, Trooper J.V. Dove reported. No charges have been filed in the accident. Dove reported. The driver stated he was forced off the road by another car. When McPherson attempted a left turn onto Sellers Drive, Bell's auto struck tin? side of McPherson's 1981 Ford. Evans' report indicated a large truck was in front of McPherson and she couldn't see the road clearly. Damages were estimated at $1,000 to Bell's auto and $1,500 to McPherson's auto. Officer Evans noted in her report that both drivers were apparently negligent. Neither was cited. Saturday at 8:05 a.m., reported Patrol Officer Eddie Reynolds, a Tabor City woman, Ila Gray Stevens, 40, was northbound on N.c. 170 in a 1984 Chevrolet. She was attempting a right turn into the parking lot at Brunswick Auto Parts when a 1973 Oldsmobile operated by Steven I. Nagy Jr. of Kensington, Md., overtook her car and attempted to pass along the right side of the parking lot. No charges were filed. Damages were about $950 to the Stevens auto and $800 to Nagy's car.
