Florida I.ynn Iangley and Captain George F.arl Richardson III were married in a military ceremony Saturday, Sept. 21, at 4 p.m. in the Suinmerall una pel 01 ihe Ciiauei in Charleston, S.C. Chaplain Gartlie officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wiley l-angley of Mt. Pleasant, S.C, who are summer residents of llolden Beach. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nolie Robinson of llolden Beach. She is a graduate of East Carolina University The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George E. Richardson Jr. of Sylvania, Ohio. He is a graduate of Rowling Green State University and is a pilot instructor in the U.S. Air Force. The bride was escorted by her father anil given in marriage by her parents. She wore a silk taffeta gown with an extended eliapcl train covered with Alencon lace. The bodice and sleeves were pearled. She also wore a mantilla veil Willi a hall-cap covered with Alencoii lace applique extending the length of the train. Matron of iionor was Kobin Davis, the bride's sister. Maid of honor was l.lnda Smith. Both wore Charlestonstyled ({owns of orchid satin und carried bouquets of pink long-stemmed roses. Bridesmaids were Susan Richardson, sister of tlic groom; I .aura Phelps; Monica Puckhnrbor; and Cathy Chrlstcnberry. All wore gowns of violet satin and carried bouquets of pink long-sleinincd roses. The mother of the bride wore a taffeta jacket with a large ruffled collar and gathered ruffles down the front over a teal blue taffeta gown with a sequincd fixed bodice. She wore a wrist corsage of Cymbidian orchids. The mother of the groom wore a dove grey crepe gown with a pleated bodice, bell-shaped sleeves and a white organza cowl neck. She wore a corsage of gardenias. Wedding music was provided by organist David Redd and soloist Janie l/cigans. A bridal luncheon was held by the bride's mother on Sept. 20. The bride presented gifts to her attendants and fhi> rnfithert: An after-rehearsal dinner cocktail party and dinner was given by the groom's parents. Homemakers Club Makes Donations At their Sept. 17 meeting, the Supply Extension Homemakers Club voted to send $10 to tiirls' Haven. Members also donated canned goods and money for the Home Mission Center in Bolivia. They sent 1,800 canceled postage stamps to Stumps For Food Inc., which will in turn nuikecontributions to the Shrincrs' Hospital for Crippled Children, Boys' Clubs, and a mission for Chinese orphans.
