Soles has been named senior loan officer with business Shallotte, according to city executive serving as city executive in BmL A Chadbourn since from the Raleigh School of Data Processing in 1967 and attended Southeastern Community College in 1969. He earned a diploma from the American Institute of Banking in 1983 and graduated from the N.C. School of Banking's MidManagement Program in 1983 and the Advanced Management Program in 1984. Named "citizen of the year" in 1984 by the Chadbourn Civitan Club, Soles' civic involvement includes serving as Dresident of the ("hadhnnrn I ions Club in 1984-85, president of the N.C. Strawberry Festival in 1984, director of the Chadbourn Chamber of Commerce from 1981 to 1985, and chairman of the Chadbourn Community Finance Committee. He has also served on the Cape Fear Council of Boy Scouts of America from 1981 to 1983 and presently serves as a member of the lakes District committee of the Cape Fear Council BSA. Soles and his wife, Nina Ann of Whiteville, have twin 11-year-old sons, John and Jerry, and attend the Chadbourn Baptist Church, where Soles is director of Sunday School and director of the Adult Assembly. Somers of I/ong Beach, with daughters Candi and Kathleen, were among more than 200 families that attended Parents Weekend at Peace College in Raleigh Sept. 28 and 29.
