The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. George Rolliason of Wilmington
and the groom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. David L. Gore of Supply.
Given in marriage by her stepfather,
George Rolliason, the bride
wore a formal gown of white tissue
taffeta. The fitted bodice featured a
Victorian neckline, a high collar of
re-embroidered Alcncon lace, a yoke
with Knglish net defined with Alencon
lace and accented with seed
pearls, and came to a point at the
waist. Pouffed sleeves of tissue taffeta
were edged in a narrow ruffle of
Alencon lace. The semifitted skirt
flowed into a chapel length train, and
both were bordered with Alencon
lace.
l/ena Kollinson, sister of the bride,
served as maid of honor The matron
of honor was Mrs. Terry Spicer.
Bridesmaids were Virglc Bell,
Stcphcnie Cato, Glenda Corniffc,
Patricia Davis, Dehorah Gause,
Cluirlone Gore and Cynthia Gore.

were attired in gray tuxedos with
dusty rose cummerbunds and
bowties. Travis Gause served as
ringbearcr and Eric Robinson was
trainbearer.
Wedding music was provided by
Barbara Highsmith and Mark
Woodberry, soloists; and laithelma
Johnson, organist.
Following the ceremony, the
parents of the bride gave a reception
at Whitey's El-Bcrta Motor Inn.
Mr. and Mrs. David I,. Gore Sr.,
parents of the groom, gave a rehearsal
dinner in the church fellowship
hull.
Prior to the wedding, the bride was
feted with a shower given by Mrs.
Terry W. Spicer in Raleigh on July
13; a bridesmaids' luncheon given by
her mother on Aug. 24; and a bridal
dinner given by Mrs. Oscar I.. Gore
in Rocky Mount on Aug. 26.
Following a trip to Williamsburg,
Va., the couple Is residing in Wilson.
The groom is the assistant county
Farmer's Home Administration
supervisor. He received a master of
science degree in vocational
agriculture and extension service
from A it T State University in 1980.
The bride is conununity development
coordinator for the City of
Wilson. She received a master's
degree in regiotuil planning in city
und regional planning from the
University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill in 1984
