McDaniei, daughter of Andrew and
Elfriede Galloway of Sunset Beach,
has worked in the Grand Strand
General Hospital emergency room
for 3H: years. She was also the
hospital's nominee for the 1985 Nurse
of the Year.
McDaniei, the mother of three and
a member of Camp Methodist
at Brunswick Hospital in Supply.
The Frist Award Program was initiated
in 1972 as a living tribute to
Dr. Thomas F. Frist Sr., one of the
three founders and first president of
Hospital Corporation of America.
Frist award winners are recognized
for their contribution to patient
welfare, co-worker morale and betterment
of the community.
