Albert.
Born October 25 at New Hanover
Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, he
weighed seven pounds, four ounces,
and was 2C inches in length.
His maternal grandparents are
Mr. and Mrs. D. Wilbur Holden of
Shallotte. The paternal grandparents
are Mr. and Mrs. Guy A. Hughes of
Ash.

Brunswick Technical College Bond
Heferendum Task Force members
| will sponsor a fish fry from 4 until 8
p m., Friday, Nov. 15 at the main
campus in Supply.
The public is invited to attend, according
to Joseph Carter, college
president.
Task force members and college
personnel will be on hand to answer
questions about the college. The $8
I million bond referendum will be put
before county voters Tuesday.

"The ceremony was very' Impressive
and enjoyed by all," said
club spokesman Bill Dunn.
Club members also voted to hold
their Christmas party at the extension
office on Monday, Dec. 16, in
conjunction with the rettular
December meeting.
Several chairpersons made program
of work mini reports: Harold
Hoy, safety; Alda lie wis, health, food
and nutrition; Jean Robinson,
citizenship, who urged members to
vote on Nov. 5; Edith Hoy, international;
Ed Robinson, housing, energy
and environment ; and Thelma Dunn,
cultural arts, who urged members to
support the Nov. 19 bond referendum
for Brunswick Technical College.
President Hoy announced the county
would participate in the 1986
Adopt-A-Student program, with
foreign students at state laridgrant
universities staying in Brunswick
County for a week in May.
She also announced that Pat Nash
of the Supply Extension
Hornemakers would lead a workshop
on constructing permanent
nametags for use at extension func
Hons and other events.
Volunteer hours reported at the
meeting included 108 hours with the
