In 1984, Health Director Thomas Blum said, 20o girls in the county from the ages of 10 through 19 gave birth. Six of these girls were 14 years of age or younger and three had their second child. Presently 29% of those enrolled in the family planning clinic are between the ages of 10 and 19.
