Town Hall was packed with spectators, many of them interested in learning what would be built if the zoning rezone requests are approved. Doug Stanaland assured the council and the concerned audience that the tract of land he wants rezoned from MR-2. Mainland Residential, to MB-1, Mainland Business, will be "tastefully developed." He said It Is possible that some of the property might be a part of a golf course to be developed in the area, but said nothing ts definite. Uee Hoffman, Area 5 project analyst in the state's Division of Facility Services certificate of need section, said the hearing is set for June 23 through July 7, 1936 In March, the N.C. Their plans call for moving their home to one side of the large lot to make room for the shop building, to be used mostly for storage. They said they did not know there were any restrictions on their property until they applied for a building permit.
