she might know Him and the power of
his resurrection and the fellowship of

Musical Planned
Jennies Branch Baptist Church
will present a Christmas musical,
"The Reason for the Season," on Sunday
and Monday. Dec. 15 and 1G. at 7
p.m.
Isaiah Mejia, minister of music
and youth, will direct the 52 participating
adults and youth, with
Uitham Stanley serving as narrator.
"Maybe this Christmas can be different
for you and your family." the
narrator suggests. "Not just an empty
celebration of little ceramic nativity
figures that we gel out and dust off
once a year, but looking at Christmas
as a relevant life-changing experience?the

To Speak Of Visit
An English-born evangelist who
says he visited heaven will speak at
the Brunswick Christian Center at
Thomasboro Dec. 15 through 20.
Dr. Percy Coliett, a former missionary
and medical doctor, says
other Christians can make the same
trip he made in 1982.
The Dec. 15 service begins at 6
p.m.; remaining services will begin
at 7 p.m. The public is invited.

will present their annual Christmas
Cantata Sunday, Dec. 22, at 3:30 p.m.
at the church on U.S. 17 north of
Shallotte.

was organized, a midnight Mass will
lie celebrated on Christinas F.ve. A
Children's Mass will be celebrated at
7 p.m. on Christmas Eve and the
Mass on Christmas Day will tie
celebrated at 8 a.m.
New Year's Day will follow the
regular Sunday schedule, said

Program Planned
Village Point United Methodist
Church will present its annual
Christmas program, the story of the
nativity, on Sunday, Dec. 22, at 7 p.m.
Church members of all ages join
the choir for this presentation, said
church spokesman Potty Jones.
A reception will follow in the
fellowship hall, with a visit from Santa
Claus scheduled.
