Frink of Suaset Beach and the late Sam F. Frink. The groom Is the son of Palmer R. Supply and Francis WllUamson of Springfield, Mo. Rev. Ivren D. Hughes of Shallotte performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, .Sam Fletcher Frink III of Calabash. She wore a Dynasty original street- length white silk sheath embroidered In a scallop pattern with seed pearls and sc]ulns. It reatnre«l Inniz sleeves and a narrow skirt split on both sides. She wore a matching headband and carried a bouquet of pbik rosebuds and trailing ivy. Honor attendant Pam Powell Hrubik of Shallotte wore a multicolored pastel skirt with pink sweater. Also attending the bride were her sisters, Mary Potts of Shallotte Point and Becki Frink of 1a»3 Aligetes, Calif. They wore multicolored pastel sundresses. Their daughters, Mcagan Potts and Samantlia I>ewis, respectively, were flower girls. They wore pink dresses with white pinafores and carried white wicker baskets of pink and red Bowers. Music was provided by Scott Jackson of Sunset Beach. The groom's cousin, Jennifer Burris of Supply, videotaped the ceremony. Attending the bridal register were Karen Savage of Bolivia and Karen Stanley of Brick Landing. The pool area was decorated with palms, Boston ferns, red geraniums, pink and red petunias, scarlet hibiscus and clover rose hydrangeas. Sprays of magnolia decorated the en trance rails and the cake table, which also featured an arrangement of pink rice bags in a white wicker basket trimmed In pink ribbon and white lace. The bide is employed with the Brunswick County Department of Social Services. The groom is employed with David Brown Con struction. Following a honeymoon in South Carolina, the newlyweds are making their hon>e at Shallotte Point Showers and Parties On April 9, the bride was given an shower by her sister, Mary Potts of Shallotte, at the home of the bride’s mother. Assisting was Karen Savage of Bolivia. On April 17, she was the guest of honor at a shower given by the AFE»C unit of the Brunswick County Depart ment of Social Services. A May 2 hachelnrette party at Rosa Unda’s in Myrtle Beach, S.C., was given by Karen Stanley of Brick Lan ding, Karen Savage of Bolivia, Becki Frink of Ixw Angeles, Calif,, sister of the bride, and Mary Potts of Shallotte Point, sister of the bride. PEOPLE IN THE NEWS Davis Appointed To Industrial Panel Harold Davis, a former Southport alderman, has been appointed by Gov. James Martin to a six-year term on the N.C. Industrial Commis sion. In the full-time paid position, he earns an annual salary of $51,420, as established by the N'.C. General Assembly for the three commLs- sloners. The commission oversees the workman's compensation act for North Carolina as it relates to businesses with five or more employees and hears appeals of claims brought before the 12 deputy Southport. Jones Re-Enlists Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Timothy L. Jones has re-enlisted for five years in the U.S. Navy. The son of Edward W. Jones of Sup ply, he is serving aboard the guided missile cruiser U.S.S. Bunker Hill. Its home port is San Diego, Calif. Davis served on the Southport Board of Aldermen from 1972-1979, including one stint as mayor pro- tem; served as a four-year member and vice-chairman of the first Brunswick County Planning Board; served from 1974-78 on tlie state’s Employment Security Commission and is currently chairman of the N.C. Energy Development Authority. His term expires in September. William and Thelma Dunn reported on the Framework of Freedom seminar they recently at tended in Raleigh, which focused on theUJS. Constitution. Members were advised they must attend an area meeting on "Drugs in Today’s World,” to attain perfect meeting attendance. These meetings will be held at Brunswick Electric Membership Cerp. at 18 a.m. June 4, and in the extension office in Bolivia at? p.m., June 18. The Supply Extension Homemakers Qub held its annual auction/flea market fund-raiser May 19 In the Brunswick Electric Membership Corp. meeting room.
