"To Me." and "More." The bride is the daughter of Hath Johnson of Shaliotte and Kdward James Johnson of Penderlea. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Klmore H. Jenkins of Teachey. (hven in marriage by her father, the l)ride wore a full-length gown of .silk ti.ssue taffeta, fashioned with a modified Sabrina neckline edged with .\lencon lace. The full skirt, ap- pli(|ued with lace medallions, was caught up in the back with a small, puffed bustle and extended into a chapel train. The veil was adorned with pearls and was attached to a floral wreath of silk flowers, pearl sprays and cry.stal lM?ads. She carried a bouquet of bridal white roses with sprays of pearls. babies' breath, miniature ivory car nations and a touch of royal blue .statice. Tliey wore periwinkle blue gowns in the directoire's style, with .soft pleated necKline, tulip sleeves and soft draped skirt and wore a garland of babies’ breath in their hair. Their bouquets consisted of gold buttons, babies' breath, royal blue statice. bridal white roses and miniature car nations with off-white streamers. The groom chose his father as best man. After a honeymoon trip to Florida, the couple will live at Pine l.,ake Village, Shaliotte. The bride is employed by Baxley & Trest law firm in Shaliotte. Flora’s Hair Design Bolivia School Honors Achievers Bolivia Elementary School has begun an "all-out effort” to recognize staff and student achievement in eight areas, according to a news release. The A-Team is composed of students in grades 1-5 who earn all As and Ss, with each student receiving a T-shirt from the P'fA. The Spelling 100 Club is for students in grades 1-5 who score 100 on each spelling test during a grading period. Students who earn As, Bs and Ss in grades 4 and 5 attain the honor roll, while those in grades 1-3 earn membership in the Teddy Bear’s Club, named for the school mascot. A perfect attendance roll for students and staff is also posted for public viewing. Also, kindergarten students arc singled out for achievements in areas determined by the kindergarten teachers each grading period. Also, personal attainments are recognized and noted in daily announcements. Birthday ribbons are given to each student on the appropriate day. Faculty and staff have an oppor tunity each month to make nomina tions for employee of the month and volunteer of the month, while bus drivers select one of their group for recognition each month.
