Picture Pretty
Among the many tilings a bride-to-be
has to think about is her first formal
portrait. Mere are some of the things
you'll need to knosv.
If you're planning to have a wedding
announcement in the newspaper, the
picture msut be submitted well in advance.
This means making an appointment
for a formal portrait before your
wedding. Check with your newspaper
for the timing tliey require.
You may find that the photograph
must he taken before the final lilting of
your gown. In this case, go with a
"head shot"?the gown can be pinned
to fit, since only the neckline will show.
Some brides prefer that this advance
picture be a formal portrait they can
cherish forever. If you're having a
morning wedding or know that your
house will be hectic on the day of your
marriage, an advance studio portrait
gives you plenty of time to prepare and
relax. Others prefer to wait and pose
on their wedding day.
