Necly Gaston performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth E. Jimison of Gastonia. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip M. Brinsficld of Ocean Isle Bcach. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a formal white satin sheath with scalloped edge lace accented by pearls and iri dcsccnts. The gown featured a Queen Ann neckline, a fitted bodice wiih scrolling pearl accents and a natural waisUine. The long satin sle eves were accented with scalloped lace motifs at the shoulders and a cathcdrai-iengtli detachable train ac ccntcd with lace appliques was at tached to the sheath skirt, both of which were edged in Schiffli lace. Her fingertip veil of scallopcd, pen cil-edged silk illusion was attached to a crown of imported silk flowers accented by peail and crystal scroll work. She carried a cascading bouquet of carnations, roses and babies' breath. Amanda Jimison of Gastonia was her sister's maid of honor. Brides maids were Kathy Shannon, Angela Humphries, Beverly Frye, Renec Hamby and Patty Trimmal, all of Gastonia. Cathrine Hamby of Gas( tonia was the junior bridesmaid. The attendants wore identical floor-length gowns of royal blue satin with a dropped "V" waist, fab ric rose accent and three-quarter length puffed, shirred sleeves.
