Fisherman Appeals Active Sentence For License Violation A Bolivia area man last week ap pealed an active jail sentence he re ceived in Brunswick Countv Dis trict Criminal Court for a boat li cense violation. According to the Brunswick County Clerk of Court s office .'udge Jerry Jolly found Johnny McNeil Moore of Route 2, Bolivia guilty last Wednesday of licensing a commercial fishing vessel that was not registered in the owner's name. Prior to his appeal, the defendant was sentenced to a seven-day jail term. The case will be heard during an upcoming term of Brunswick County Superior Court. Court documents indicate that Moore was charged Oct. 21, 1989, by N.C. Marine Fisheries Officer Dale Hewett The citation was served on the Calabash River. No property was seized by Marine Fisheries. Also during the Jan. 8 through 1 1 term of Brunswick County District Criminal Court, Judge Jolly heard the following cases: Michacl P.
