Join Chamber Directors In Operation Thank You BY SUSANNE SARTELLE, EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT South Brunswick Islands Chamber Of Commerce It's not often enough that we say "thank you" to the members of our community who work together for positive growth the chamber of com merce members. But that is changing! On Tuesday, Feb. 20, vol unteers representing the chamber will have a mis sion: to visit in the community. The mission is "Operation Thank You." It's true, chamber mem bers will be visited and told thank you for being such an asset to our organization and community. After all, it is the chamber members who pro mote our community and who make the wheels turn. It is a good investment to be involved in the chamber. To be able to cover the entire membership (which now numbers close to 400), we need volun- SARTELLE tccrs... members visiting members. On that Tuesday morning, volunteers will meet for breakfast at the chamber office and then will spend a few hours visiting other members. In addition to being told thank you, each member will receive a copy of the new 1990 South Brunswick Islands Visitors Guide. The guide is hot off the press and includes a listing of every chamber member as well as colorful advertising, editorial and valuable information on our area. Doing business with fellow chamber members is good business. Therefore, the guide can be effectively used as a reliable directory for business calls, addresses, phone numbers and, most importantly, recom mendations and referrals. If you arc a chamber member, we need your support to make Operation Thank You a success. Members of the board of directors will be out visiting and others arc welcome to join in. Visiting other chamber members will also provide a good opportunity for promoting your own business. Make the mission successful and be a part of Operation Thank You.
