Scholarships Highlight Awards Day At South Brunswick High BY SUSAN USHER South Brunswick High School seniors have been offered more than $462,000 in scholarships this year, only one type of recognition noted during the school's annual awards day program last week. Awards were presented last Wednesday morning in the multi purpose room and transmitted live to students in their classrooms via Cougar Entertainment TV, the stu dent television production class. Guidance Counselor Marsha Cochran said several recent an nouncements, including a football grant-in-aid to Carl Parker from William and Mary College in Virginia, had boosted the financial aid level from its previous 5330,000 level. Earnest Wcarrcn of South port has the choice of accepting either an Air Force ROTC scholarship worth $8,000 a year at Faycttcvillc Slate University or an appointment to the U.S. Air Force Academy, worth ap proximately $100,000.
