Married 50 Years Ivan (Hill) and Muriel Ward Bennett of Fnim will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 6. They were married at Fort Jack son, S.C., in 1942. The Bennetts will celebrate with their children, Vin, Dixie, Jill and Joy, and their two grandchildren. Births Are Announced Lewis Louie and Angic Lewis Jr. of Supply have announced the birth of twins A daughter, Hope Morgan Lewis, and a son, Matthew Fisher Lewis, were bom Dec. 18 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilming ton. Hope arrived at 12:26 p.m., weighing 6 pounds, and was 18 inches long. Matthew followed at 12:28 p.m., weighing 4 pounds, 14 ounccs, and was 17.5 long. They join a brother. Jonathan Lewis. Houseware Parly Aids Hope Harbor A plastic houseware party set Saturday, Feb. 8, at Brunswick Community College will benefit the local shelter for victims of domestic violence, Hope Harbor Home Inc. The party will be held from 12 noon to 4 p.m. in the multi -purpose room of the ALS building on the main BCC campus on U.S. 17 north of Supply, said home director Cathy Swaim. He was bom at 8:58 a.m. at The Brunswick Hospital, weighing 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and was 20 inch es long. Nathaniel joins a brother, Mat mew, and a sister, Elcana. Maynard of Myrtle Beach, v??. Class Teaches How To Paint T-Shirts If you've ever wanted to learn how to paint T-shirts and sweat shirts, Brunswick County Parks and Recreation has the class for you. A shin-painting class will be held Wednesday, Feb. 26, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Lock wood Folly Com munity Building. Each participant must pay a S3 registration fee and should bring a T-shirt or sweatshirt. Class members will learn to work with transfers and fabric paint. The bride is the daughter of Rog er and Patricia Morton of Holdcn Beach. The groom is the son of Warren Rogers and Wayne and Loretta Knight, all of Berkley, Mass. The Rev. Franklin Myers officiat ed during the double-ring ceremony. Mauls of honor were Teres;! Mor ton, sister-in-law of the bride, Tonya Spivcy, and Angic Heustcss. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white satin sheath gown. It featured a high neck, tear drop sIccvcn, a bodice beaded wiih pearls, embroidered laee and irrides cents, and an open back draped wiih pearls. Her pearl laden headpiece had a fingertip veil with pout. The bride carried a cascading bouquet of white lilies, bridal roses, frccsia and as tromeria. Her attendants wore black satin sheath gowns with pearl-draped low cut backs and basque waistlines with pcpluni. A reception was held for the cou ple following the ceremony at Lockwood Folly Golf Links Club house with music provided by Star light Entertainment. The bride is a graduate of West Brunswick High School, Shallottc, and received a bachelor's degree in English at UNC-Wilmington. She is currently employed as an English teacher at North Brunswick High School, Lcland. The groom is a graduate ol Mid dleboro High School, Middleboro, Mass., and after serving in the U.S. Marines, is currently employed at Brown Creek Correctional Institu tion, Polklon. The newlyweds spent their hon eymoon at Cobbly Nob Resort, Gat linburg, Tcnn., and will relocate to Albemarle in June. To Wed March 7 Mr. and Mrs. Danny M.
