JOSEPH FRANKUN WILUAMSON ...Teresa Lynn Lanier > Lanier-Williamson Wedding Held At Ocean Isle Beach Teresa Lynn Lanier and Joseph Franklin Williamson were united in marriage al the Ocean Isle Beach Chapel, Ocean Isle Beach, on March 20, al five o'clock in the afternoon. The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. H. Ellis Lanier, father of the bride. Music was provided by Gregory Bell, pi anist, Beth Bell, soloist, and Victoria McLamb, flutist. The bride is the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. H. Ellis Lanier of Hamp stead. The groom is the son of Betty Williamson and Henry Franklin Williamson of Ocean Isle Beach. The bride, presented in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, wore a formal white satin and alonza lace gown featuring an off the-shoulder neckline, a fitted bod ice and a chapel train, all accented with seeded pearls and sequins. She carried a bouquet of white roses and coral tulips. The bridesmaids wore knee lengih gowns of coral montego satin which had off-the-shoulder fanned sleeves, fitted bodices, and straight skins. They carried bouquets of coral roses and assortments of white spring flowers. The sister of the bride, Gcorge anne L. Banks of Wilmington, served as matron of honor. Brides maids were Cynthia Shcrrili of Greensboro and Lydia Boothe, sis ter of the bride. Henry Franklin Williamson, fa ther of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Derrick Williamson, brother of ihe groom and Terry Stephens, both of Ocean Isle Beach; and Art Barefoot of Durham. Following the ceremony, a recep tion was held at Sandpiper Golf and Country Club, Calabash. Music was provided by Gerry White. A rehearsal dinner for the wed ding party and out-of-town guests was hosted Mrs. Betty Williamson and H. Franklin Williamson at the Sandpiper Golf and Country Club. A bridal luncheon was hosted by the bride's mother, Ann Lanier, also at the Sandpiper Golf and Country Club. A shower for the couple was host ed in Greensboro by Mr. and Mrs. Brent Nash, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Crist, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sain and Mr. and Mrs. Philip Bowman. At Ocean Isle Beach, a bridal shower was hosted by Dare Joyner and Kate Williamson. A barbecue by the sea, hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Art Barefoot, Mr. and Mrs. Derrick Williamson, Terry Stephens, and Kim Hewett, honored thetouple at Ocean Isle Beach. The bride is a graduate of N.C. State University with a degree in tex tile technology. The groom graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in business management. After a wedding trip to St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in their new home in Ocean Isle Beach.
