SW (Hwy. 904) Sunset Bcach J\. tribute In 1989, Dad, my brother, L.B. and I were forced to place our mother, Eva Mae Bennett, in a facility where she could get around the clock attention and the skilled nursing care she need ed. We chose Autumn Care Nurs ing Home in Shallotte. This turn ed out to be the best decision we could have made. For four years the staff at Autumn Care took excellent care of her. (Mother passed away on April 14.) They not only attend ed to her needs with caring, con cern and dignity, but they looked out for us, too-especially Dad. Each and everyone there is a caring, compassionate, gentle, kind individual-from the Head of Administration to the cleaning personnel. Mother had a crippling, pain ful arthritis condition and they were so gentle and easy with her, all the while joking to try and keep her mind away from her pain. We thank you Autumn Care for doing a job for us that we were unable to do. We will never forget any of you and we will al ways be eternally grateful for all you did. You made a hard time in our lives easier by your outpouring of love and your genuine con cern for Mom. You are the best!
