The Rev. Joseph Stroud per formed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy M. Austin of Wingate. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer J. Lyles of (iixtsccreek Road. Shallotte. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Her gown was a sheath of ivory satin with Alcncon lace overlay. It was designed with sheer illusion yoke featuring a wed ding band collar of imported lace. The waist and hem were trimmed with Venice lace, and the bodice was adorned with pearls. Lace gauntlets completed the gown. Her elbow-length veil of ivory il lusion was accented with a small pouf and was scattered with pearls and held by a halo of braided satin and pearls. She carried a bouquet of stargazer lilies and bridal roses ac cented with bear grass and fern. Maid of honor was Tiffany Austin, the bride's sister. Maid of honor was Laurie Lowell of Atlanta.
