Wadell is currently deployed with Strike Fighter Squadron 15, Naval Air Station Cecil Field, Jacksonville, Fla., as part of the aircraft earner USS Theodore Roosevelt Baltic Group. The ship recently went to the Mediterranean from the Red Sea where Waddell wa- helping to en force the United Nations-imposed "no-fly" zone ov> r Bosnia-Herze govina. Waddell is the son of Dcbra Y. Waddell of Route 3, Lcland. He is a 1990 graduate of North Brunswick High School and joined the Navy in November 1990. Workshops Set The Brunswick County Literacy Council will sponsor tutor-training workshops for the Ash, Litdc Prong and Longwood areas of the county on Saturday, Aug. 14, and Saturday, Aug. 21, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day. The free training will be held in the cafeteria building next to the Little Prong Missionary Baptist Church. Participants must attend both days to become certified Laubach tutors. Zoller is aboard the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, homeportcd in Alameda, Calif., on a six-rnonlh western Pacific, Indian Ocean and Persian Gulf deployment. Zoller is the son of Patricia A. McGinnis of Palmetto Road, South port. His ship is the leader in a battle group which includes three cruisers, two frigates, a submarine and two replenishment ships. It will operate with Carrier Air Wing 1 1 , consisting of eight squadrons with its 85 air craft. Zoller visited Hong Kong, where crewmen from his ship conducted several community relations projects.
