The Rev. V.C. Potter officiated at the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of John and Joyce Potter of Southport and the granddaughter of Elneta Potter of Southport. The groom is the son of H. Spencer and Linda Lanier of Winnabow and the grandson of Ethel Benton of Lciand and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey S. Spencer of Win nabow. Music was provided by pianist Becky Falor of Boiling Spring Lakes and vocalists Lori Bryant and Carolyn Young of Winnabow and Mr. and Mrs. Bill White of Castle Hayne. Missy Hufham presided at the register and Tracey Potter, cousin of the bride, presented programs to the guests. Vickie Potter, the bride's aunt, directed the wedding. The bride, escorted by her father and given in marriage by her par ents, wore a white brocadc gown which featured a Venice lace portrait collar. The gown featured a fitted bodice and lacc-cdgcd basque waist line which fell to a full skirt with a back bow. The bridal headpiece was a half wreath of white silk rosebuds, or ange blossoms and crystal sprays. The three-tier veil fell to fingertip length. The bride carried a bouquet of two dozen yellow roses. Cindy Cureton of Columbia, S.C., served as matron of honor. Brides maids were Candy Bart of Durham; Kathy Smith of Atlanta, Ga.; Tam my Wilson of Charlotte; Jackie Faulk; Millie Hart and Sissy Rogers of Southport; Cyndi Lanier of Winn abow, sister-in-law of the groom; and Donna Potter of Southport, sis ter-in-law of the bride.
