A major draw for the festival is oysters, cooked in a variety of ways. Shrimp, fried fish, coleslaw and hushpuppies will be plentiful. Other fun-filled events include a Road Race at Holden Beach and a Bullshooting Contest to choose the best storyteller. Festivities continue Saturday with a parade, arts and crafts show, fun runs, horseshoe pitching, kite flying, sand sculpture. ..and lots I of food!
