DEREK STANLEY ..Jieverly Stevenson Stevenson, Stanley Share Wedding Vows In Local Park Shallotte Township Park was the setting for the marriage of Beverly Stevenson of Supply and Derek Stanley of Shallotte Saturday, Aug. 28. The bride is the daughter of the Rev. Leo and Marsha Stevenson of Supply. She graduated from West Brunswick High School in 1992 and is employed by United Carolina Bank and Food Lion of Shallotte. The groom is the son of Linward and Logene Stanley of Shallotte. A 1992 graduate of West Brunswick High School, he is serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. The bride's father officiated the double-ring, 11:30 a.m. service, which was followed by a reception at the park. Giving the bride in mar riage was her uncle, Elmer Stev enson of Supply. Andre Stanley of Shallotte was his groom's best man. The bride wore a champagne white gown with a bodice embell ished with lace appliques and a basque waistline that fell to a full skirt with a two-tiered balloon ef fect. Her fingertip-length veil and blusher of illusion were attached to a coronet of beaded sequins accented with tiny rose sprays. She wore matching pearl earrings and necklace. She carried a red and white bou quet of fresh roses tied with ribbons. After a honeymoon in South Car olina, the newlyweds will be sta tioned temporarily in California with the U.S. Marine Corps, before reas signment to Japan in February 1994.
