She is a ju nior at South Brunswick High, and the daughter of Steve and Flora Johnson of Johnsonville Road. Johnson spent the week of Nov. 8 providing clerical an admin istrative support as a page in the Department of Correction. "This program is a great way for young people like Willa to see first hand how state government works," said Gov. Jim Hunt. "They play a vi tal role in making our government run smoothly, and I hope this experi ence will pave the way for future leaders of our state." Pages are assigned to various state agencies to assist with day-to day office operations. While in Ra leigh. they tour several government buildings including the Capitol, the Legislative Building, the Executive Mansion and the Museum of His tory. Pages are recommended by their teachers, principals or members of their community to serve a one week term. The program is open to high school students between the ages of 15 and 18 who maintain a B average. Reports To Hawaii Navy Airman Apprentice Curtis M. "He also significantly improved the unit's quality assurance program, upgrading training, inspection pro cedures. instructional manuals, and work processes. In addition, he pro vided excellent technical advice and assistance to U.S. Atlantic Fleet air craft carriers concerning their quali ty assurance inspections and audits. The awards, presented during for mal ceremonies, "is official recogni tion for Benson's outstanding per formance, diligence, professional expertise and steadfast dedication to quality customer service." according to the Navy.
