NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Town Council of Sunset Beach will hold a public
hearing on Monday February 7, 1994 at 7:00 p.m. in
the Town Hall of Sunset Beach, N.C.
Purpose: To hear oral comments and receive written
comments on the rezoning of the property on the north
side of Hickory Street and the property on the south
side of Shoreline Drive West.
RE: Rezoning of Hickory Street property.
At its regular meeting on Thursday, December 9, 1993
the planning board agreed to recommend that 11 lots,
lots 20 through 30, between Shoreline Drive East and
Hickory Street be rezoned from MR-2 to the newly
established MR-2A.
These lots were platted and recorded before the adop
tion of the zoning ordinance. The proposed rezoning
changes only the front yard set back from 50' to 25'.
More functional and attractive houses will thus be pos
sible on these lots.
