Cheers- Hartsell Wedding Is Celebrated At Bethel United Methodist Church Siacie Cheers ot' Bolivia and Michaci Kay Hartsell of liolden Beach were united in marriage Dec. 4 at 5 p.m. in Bethel United Meth ivllvl Church. Rntjvin The Hcv Russell Knowles officiated the dou ble-ring candlelight ceremony. The bride, given in marriage by her father, Billy Ray Cheers, wore a formal gown of candlelight satin and beaded, re-embroidered alencon lace with a sheer yoke and long leg-o mutton sleeves, sweetheart neckline of linglish net and high beaded Victorian collar. The fitted elongated bodice dropped to a point at the waistline and flared to the scallop hemline. I "he back featured covered buttons and loops to the dropped waistline which extended into a cathedral train. A chapel-length multi-layered tulle veil on a Juliette cap trimmed with pearls and cascading roses ac centuated the gown. She carried a bouquet of wine and ivory roses with lace candlelight streamers. Matron of honor was Trinia Grif fin of Greenville. S.C. Bridesmaids were Anita Hartsell of Longwood and Heather Dosher of liolden Beach. Flower girl was Heather Divoky. Honorary bridesmaid was Stephanie Cheers Divoky of Aurora. III. The attendants wore formal can dlelight lace tea-length gowns with hi K flounce -imt fl: i roil hemline ;tn(l carried Victorian wine and pink can dles with cascading rosebuds. Best man was James William llartscll. the groom's father. Groomsmen were Jamey Hartsell of UlngwiHKl and Michael Griffin of Greenville, S.C.. Wesley Clark of Raleigh. Ringbearer was Cody Knox of Bolivia. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos accented with Victo rian pink bowtics and cummer bunds. Music was provided by Steve Renn, pianist, of Wilmington; Dr. William Knox, organist, of Wilm ington; Jaxie Knowles, soloist, of Bolivia; and Jeff and Jenni Johnson of Yaupon Beach. The wedding was directed by Wanda Frazier of Bolivia. Registrar was I .aura Galloway of Varnam town. Following the ceremony a recep tion was hosted by the bride's par ents at the Brunswick County Shrine Club. Serving were Debbie Stanley. Sharon Shannon. Tricia Shannon. Mable Mooney.
